How to Get Rid of Razor Burns Fast
Kevin, 27, is sporting a beard for a long time as he is too scared of razor burns on his face. So he explains when anybody asks about his beard -“I have a thick facial hair. Every time I shave them, I get a terrible razor burn on my neck. It is so ugly and painful; so I thought I’d rather have a beard than have a razor burn and bumps.” Kevin just wants to know how to prevent and treat razor burn before he attempts to shave again.
Ice Pack

The quick and the easiest remedy for instant relief from razor burns is ice pack cold compress. It helps reduce inflammation, itching and redness. Take a few ice cubes and wrap them in a cloth or a towel and apply to the affected area for 10 minutes. You can also apply a towel soaked in ice water on the razor burns. Repeat 2-3 times every day to get best results.

Aspirin

For instant relief, aspirin is really effective. Aspirin contains salicylic acid that reduces inflammation and redness. Put 2 aspirin tablets in a bowl, add 1tsp of water and let it dilute for a while. Mix it to make a paste and apply it on your razor burns. Leave it on your burns for 10 minutes and wash it off with lukewarm water. You may have to repeat this process at least 2 times a day for instant relief. However, those with extremely sensitive skin may have to be careful with this remedy.

Aloe Vera

Aloe vera has anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal properties. The polysaccharides in the aloe gel help heal the skin deeply and reduce razor burns inflammation. Extract fresh aloe vera gel from an aloe vera leaf and rub it all over your razor burns on your face, neck etc. Wash it with cold water when it dries. Apply it at least 2 to 3 times daily to get relief from razor burns.
